This client runs continuously producing two files, gpsd.html and gpsd.svg. I have used minihttpd with webgps to provide a live update of the GPS receiver status. The client needs to run continuously in order to build a history of and generate the satellite tracks. Your browser must be able to handle SVG to get the skymap display working properly. It has been tested with Firefox, Konqueror and IE6 with the Adobe SVG plugin.
